DXF uses millimetres and contains tube-OD circles and centre coordinates. Hole diameter, drilling tolerances and manufacturing dimensions must be defined separately.
Calculation scope
This tool creates a geometric preliminary layout. Heat-transfer area = tube count × π × tube outside diameter × effective length. Tube wall thickness does not change the layout; it is included in the quotation request.
A horizontal partition lane is used for two passes; horizontal and vertical lanes are used for four passes. Tube count in each pass is shown separately. Counts can differ between passes; final partition and channel design requires engineering review.
Tube-sheet thickness, ligament strength, pressure resistance, thermal performance, pressure drop, bundle-pull clearance, tie rods, impingement plates and sealing details are not calculated. Results are not manufacturing-approved drawings.
